It’s exciting, healthy, educational and cheap. So, why not take the kids rock pooling with the experts this half-term or join a beach clean?

There are some fantastic low tides on the Friday 20^th and Saturday 21^st of February – so even if you can’t join one of these events, check out my rockpooling tips and beach guide and let me know what you find.

February Rock Pool Ramble: Friday 20^th, 12.00 – 13.30 at Hannafore Beach, Looe

Join Looe Marine Conservation Group experts to discover the amazing wildlife in our rockpools. Wear suitable footwear and warm clothes. No nets please. All welcome. Free, but donations very welcome. Meet on the beach below Coastguard Station/ Kiosk.

Rummage in a Rock Pool near Marazion: Sunday 22nd, 13.00 – 15.00
